TomoVerse – A Revolutionary Metaverse-Based Optimisation Platform for Industry, Powered by Artificial Intelligence and Industrial Tomography

Netrix S.A. is implementing the project entitled “TomoVerse – A Revolutionary Metaverse-Based Optimisation Platform for Industry, Powered by Artificial Intelligence and Industrial Tomography”. The project is co-financed by the European Union under Measure FEPK.01.01 Research and Development, Project Type: Support for Research and Development Activities, Priority FEPK.01 Competitive and Digital Economy, European Funds for Podkarpackie 2021–2027 Regional Programme.

Project Objective:

The aim of the project is to develop an advanced interactive virtual reality system within the metaverse, using artificial intelligence technologies. The system will enable monitoring, analysis, self-regulation, optimisation of interactive scenarios, control of user interactions, creation of parametric spatial structures, and dynamic 3D visualisations providing immersive experiences.

The system will be applicable across industries seeking to use the metaverse for training, design, simulation, or educational purposes, including industrial design, mechanical engineering, electronics, the furniture industry, the food industry, and the chemical industry.

Expected project outcomes include:

  1. Development of an intelligent metaverse space management system.
  2. Development of innovative measurement methods and devices based on artificial intelligence and sensor systems.
  3. Reinforcement learning-based algorithms for optimising virtual spaces.
  4. Advanced reconstruction algorithms for 3D visualisation and interaction monitoring.
  5. An extensive database of virtual models and parametric descriptions for large-scale metaverse systems.
  6. An interactive communication interface enabling seamless transitions between the real and virtual worlds.
  7. A demonstration metaverse environment with integrated sensor systems simulating real-world production processes.

Project Structure:

The project is divided into three stages: industrial research (15 months) – “Research on AI Predictive Analytics Algorithms in the Metaverse Module”; experimental development (6 months) – “Implementation and Optimisation of the Metaverse System Prototype”; and implementation (9 months) – “Commercial Implementation of the Metaverse System in a Production Environment”.

The first stage (industrial research) focuses on algorithm development, metaverse space management, and the design of sensors and the tomograph. The second stage (experimental development) will involve integrating AI algorithms with hardware and developing intelligent sensors.

During the third stage (implementation), the system is planned to be deployed within the Company’s operations. The system will be implemented through the installation, configuration, and adaptation of the solution to enable both cloud-based licence distribution and the generation of client licences.
